FAQs

How does Simpull pricing work?

We join other software pioneers like Jason Fried – as software developers, we believe software pricing has gotten out of control. Not only should it be affordable, it should be simple.

A few ways we simplify pricing:

  1. No licensing. You can install our plugins on one site, or two hundred sites. No ads, upsells, notices or nags. No licensing calls to our servers to make sure you’re not stealing it. You’re probably not, and those checks only slow your site down.
  2. Maximum yearly spend. Buy as much as you want from us, we won’t let you spend more than $365/year. Any site should be able to get great software solutions with less than a dollar a day. Once you try to spend more than that? Free dollars and freefty cents.
  3. Any caveats? Not really, no. There may be solutions we build that require some level of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integration. Think things like AI models, etc. There may eventually be additional costs for those types of things. Our commitment is to keep those costs as low as possible (and as optional as possible!).
Where does the name Simpull come from?

By now, you know that we have an incredibly high value for simplicity. So naturally, Simpull.

But also, we believe it’s much easier to pull ideas from the market that’s begging for them than it is to push our own ideas out in the world.

What types of products does Simpull focus on building?

Simpull is never going to build the most complex, robust, feature-rich plugins in the world. We have dear friends and colleagues who are already doing wonderful work in that space.

We’re focused on building a library of products that are creative, simple solutions to poorly met needs for WordPress and WooCommerce.

Can I pitch an idea for you to build with your Simpull process?

Absolutely! You can join our product incubator Slack easily – either by purchasing an existing product or signing up for our newsletter below. From there, you’ll have full access to our team to pitch your plugin idea.
